It was not easy to come up with this list – there are many great Bollywood movies out there! We thought long and hard about the movies and after much deliberation, here are our top five picks:

Sholay is a great blend of action, comedy, romance, and drama, and is a must-watch for any Bollywood movie fan.

2. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995): Directed by Aditya Chopra, this movie became one of the first Indian films to be released internationally. It stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the lead roles and tells the story of two young people who fall in love against the backdrop of a traditional Indian family.
